Construction Agreement Signed for the LTB Theatre and Cultural Centre

Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality (LTB) and KAMTEK Ltd. have signed the construction agreement for the LTB Theatre and Cultural Centre. The agreement was signed at a presentation and signing ceremony by LTB Mayor Mehmet Harmancı and KAMTEK Ltd. Board Member Mustafa Kamacıoğlu.

The four-storey centre will cover a total of 6,361 m² across six blocks. With a 465-seat hall, stage technology, acoustic infrastructure and a movable orchestra platform, it is designed to host productions of different scales. The project also includes a theatre museum, a public square, an open-air amphitheatre, a café, and exhibition and meeting spaces.

The investment of 330 million TL (£5.2 million) is funded from LTB’s own resources. The centre is planned to be ready for the 24th Cyprus Theatre Festival in 2028.
